Iran’s Ministry of Defense Participates in Brazil’s Defense and Security Exhibition
WANA (Apr 02) – The achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s defense industry were showcased at the 11th edition of the LAAD 2025 Defense and Security Exhibition in Brazil, with the participation of 41 countries.
The 11th edition of LAAD 2025, one of the most significant defense and security exhibitions, commenced with broad Iranian participation and the presence of representatives from 41 nations.
The opening ceremony of this international event was attended by Brazil’s First Vice President, along with the country’s Ministers of Defense, Industry, Science, and Technology.
As the most important defense industry event in the Southern Hemisphere and Latin America, LAAD 2025 hosts 360 companies from five continents, 120 international delegations, deputy defense ministers, and senior commanders of armed forces from various countries.
A key highlight of this year’s edition is the presence of Iran’s Ministry of Defense for the first time, reflecting the country’s commitment to strengthening international engagement and expanding global defense cooperation.
